Nyako accuses Adamawa CJ of frustrating his case

Former governor of Adamawa State, Admiral Murtala Nyako (retd), on Wednesday, accused the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Ibrahim Auta, of frustrating his case challenging the legality of his impeachment.

Speaking to judicial correspondents in Abuja, on Wednesday, through his lawyer, Olukoya Ogunbele, the former governor appealed to Justice Auta to immediately release the case file to Yola division of the Federal High Court to enable the trial judge to deliver the judgment, which was supposed to be delivered on February 12, 2015.

The petitioner also called on the NJC to order a speedy hearing of the Nyako’s case before Justice Banu in the interest of justice.
