Ogor Wins, Mutu In Early Lead In Delta Constituency

DEPUTY Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon Leo Ogor has won the National Assembly elections held in the Isoko Federal held on Saturday Ogor, who is the candidate
of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, polled 79052 votes as against 6,626 secured by the All Progressives Congress, APC. Meanwhile, some of the results made available to our correspondent revealed that the lawmaker representing the Bomadi/Patani federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Nicholas Mutu was leading in the elections in the constituency. Results from Bomadi Local Government saw Mutu of the PDP polling 56,030 votes while Thompson Garry of APC and Peres Omoun of ADC securing 119 and 1155 votes respectively. As at press time results from Patani Local Government Area were still being expected, but Vanguard gathered that Mutu won in the entire 10 wards in the area.
