Chelsea have given Petr Cech permission to seek a transfer this summer, the goalkeeper's agent has confirmed. The Czech Republic international has been No.2 to Thibaut Courtois this season after the young Belgian returned from his loan at Atletico Madrid, with Jose Mourinho keen to keep two excellent keepers on his books.
But Viktor Kolar, Cech's representative, says that his client is keen to seek first-team football elsewhere and the Blues have relented. The 32-year-old has played 14 games in all competitions this season but only five in the Premier League as Mourinho's side secured the title.
