Former Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume has said his party, The PDP has no respect for democracy in Nigeria.
He said, “PDP is gone; the culture of impunity is gone. PDP does not respect democracy and that is what we should be against; the era of imposing candidates on the people is gone.”
Araraume said that the current governor, remains the only true leader of the APC in the South-East due to being the only remaining governor of the party in the zone.
Araraume however failed to disclose if he is defecting from the PDP but he urged his followers to throw their weight behind the incoming administration of President-elect Mohammadu Buhari and Okorocha.
