Defections hit Ekiti PDP

 
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state is set to suffer mass defections after 40 senior members of the party and their supporters resolved to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defection ceremony which is to hold at a rally in the next few days will see top PDP big wigs like a former acting governor, Tope Ademiluyi; a former ambassador to the Republic of Congo, Jolaade Onipede; member of the fourth National Assembly in the House of Representatives, Olufemi Adeyemi and.........
a former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Femi Thomas among others leave the party.

Meanwhile, the APC Ekiti state chapter has alleged that Governor Ayodele Fayose is suffering from psychological stress which prompted him to make seditious remarks threatening to bring down President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
