Conflict broke out as some department of the college went on strike and some did not, as the students were undergoing their first semester examination.
Physical health education department 4/4 were set for exam.. The question paper and answer scripts given to the students when suddenly a group of able bodied staffs of the college pumbed in and asked all the students to " go home , that the exam will not be holding". Now the college is divided into two.
According to our correspondent, the reasons of the strike is numerous but some of which is the acting provost Dan Anyanwu, Refuses to step down after his agreed six months as the acting provost of the college has elapsed, reports says that he wants to continue and not without contesting for the post. Some other reasons are unpaid allowances and full payment of salaries.
As it seems like there is division in the college, members of the college bodies like succan, JAC, SOGE etc are in two groups, those that want the strike and those that doesn't (the anti- strike)......
