Okorocha installs acting chairman as APC boils in Imo

The Imo State All progressive congress on Wednesday witness a new drama as Governor Okorocha installs Mr Chris Oguoma as the acting chairman of Imo state APC.
It was gathered that the event took place at the party Secretariat, in Owerri, where loyalists to Okorocha stormed the party office, to partake in the installation ceremony.

Conflict in Alvan Ikoku federal college of Education owerri

Conflict broke out as some department of the college went on strike and some did not, as the students were undergoing their first semester examination.

Physical health education department 4/4 were set for exam.. The question paper and answer scripts given to the students when suddenly a group of able bodied staffs of the college pumbed in and asked all the students to " go home , that the exam will not be holding". Now the college is divided into two.

60 roads completed in Abia-Ikpeazu

Abia Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, said his administration had constructed 60 roads across the state since inauguration in 2015.
Ikpeazu stated this at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja, and said that the roads comprised rural, intra-state and inter-state routes.

NAN Deputy Editor-in-Chief’s wife delivers quadruplets

After seven years of marriage, Mr. Peter Ejiofor, a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, was blessed with a set of quadruplets in the early hours of yesterday.

The quadruplets, all boys, who were delivered at 9.24a.m., are being nursed in incubators at Crystal Specialist Hospital, Akonwonjo, a suburb of Lagos.

U.S boils over Nigeria's side on Jerusalem
