The minister of state for power, Alhaji Mohammed Wakil, on Thursday in Maiduguri held a close - door meeting with the parents and relatives of the abducted chibok school girls, assuring them of the effort s by the Federal Government to secure the release of the girls.
This is contained in a statement signed by the minister's Special Assistant on Media, Mr Ola wale Rasheed, and made available to newsmen in Maiduguri.
The Youth leaders of the chibok community were also in attendance with some elders of the community.
