Meet the 17-year-old who exposed Apple's iPhone slowdown which could cost the tech-giant BILLIONS in lawsuits


Tyler Barney, a 17-year-old high school student in Mt Juliet, Tennessee, said he made the discovery that decreased performance has to do with phones lithium-ion batteries when his iPhone 6s 'became buggy.' 

Barney said that while he waited on the new updated operating system to be released by Apple, he tried his brother's older model iPhone 6.

NAN Deputy Editor-in-Chief’s wife delivers quadruplets

After seven years of marriage, Mr. Peter Ejiofor, a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, was blessed with a set of quadruplets in the early hours of yesterday.

The quadruplets, all boys, who were delivered at 9.24a.m., are being nursed in incubators at Crystal Specialist Hospital, Akonwonjo, a suburb of Lagos.

Investigators in New York City searched early on Friday for the cause of a blaze that ripped through an apartment building in the Bronx and killed 12 people including four children, in the city’s deadliest fire in at least a quarter of a century.

The fire broke out a little before 7 p.m. (0000 GMT) on the first floor of a brick building and quickly spread upstairs, city Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro told a news conference with Mayor Bill de Blasio.

U.S boils over Nigeria's side on Jerusalem

On Dec 7 2017 President Donald Trump of the United States declared Jerusalem the Capital of Israel, saying the U.S will move its Embassy to Jerusalem, the declaration was met with violent protest in Palatine and across the Muslim Countries.

An Emergency United Nations meeting was held, 128 Countries voted against the move by the United State which Nigeria was among those against the move, leaving only 9 countries which voted in favour of the United States.

How RTD CP Midenda founded SARS in the Police


    Recently, there were public demonstrations for and against the continued existence of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, a dreaded anti crime unit of the Nigeria Police Force. The vexatious issue which took the front burner in national discourse resulted in the big question about how SARS came to be. There have been claims and counter-claims. One of the gallant officers of the force whose name kept on ringing bell over the issue is Simeon Danladi Midenda, a retired Commissioner of Police.
