It's not something he is often seen doing, but Kanye West had a good reason to smile on Friday.

Buhari, VP fail to declare assets publicly

                              

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have declared their assets to the Code of Conduct Bureau as required by the Constitution but failed to make the contents public.

The head of Buhari’s media team, Garba Shehu, in a statement on Saturday, said the President and the Vice President submitted their assets declaration forms separately on Thursday.

Shehu added that the CCB, through its Chairman, Sam Saba, on Friday acknowledged the receipt of the forms.

It was a whirlwind tour of Los Angeles for Kylie Jenner and Tyga on Saturday.

The 17-year-old first made an appearance with Kendall at a PacSun event before stopping by the older Jenner's apartment to freshen up in Westwood.

Then Kylie was off with rumoured beau Tyga, 25, for a trip to a highend jewelry store in Beverly Hills and later that evening a celebrity basketball game.

Kylie and Tyga, who were first linked romantically in October 2014, appear to have become virtually inseparable. 

Last weekend, the pair were together in Monaco for the Formula 1 Grand Prix. 

But after returning home the two appear to be making the rounds in LA at various events, including a stop at Kendall's to pick up a few of the teen's things. cute for em both.

Jurgen Klopp gave Borussia Dortmund their smile back in his seven years in charge, according to sporting director Hans-Joachim Watzke.

In his seven years in charge at Signal Iduna Park, Klopp won two Bundesliga titles, a DFB-Pokal and two DFB Supercups as well as finishing second in the Champions League.

However, his side only just scraped a place in the Europa League for next season after a disappointing campaign and lost 3-1 to Wolfsburg in the DFB-Pokal final on Saturday - his final game in charge.

Catholic priest convicted of abusive sexual contact

                         

A Catholic priest aboard a US Airways cross-country flight was found guilty of abusive sexual contact for putting his hands on the ‘breast, groin and buttocks’ of a sleeping woman last August. The female passenger awoke to find Father Marcelo De Jesumaria groping her and reported what had happened to the crew of the flight from Philadelphia to Los Angeles.

De Jesumaria was taken into custody when the flight landed and then indicted in October once enough evidence had been collected by authorities.

Source has reliably gathered that there is an ongoing fuss in the location of one of Kingsley Okereke's movie, which is being presently shot at UNILAG.

The fight which almost shut down the set was as a result the director's order that all actors and crew members should stop speaking Igbo language.

After he informed them of his ban, obviously it didn't go down well with some of the Igbo speaking actors on set.

Boko Haram militants fire grenades into Maiduguri, kill 7

                          

Hours after the new Nigerian president ordered that the country’s defence seat be moved to Maiduguri, Borno State capital, until Boko Haram is subdued, the insurgents on Friday night staged yet another deadly attack in the city.

According to Premium Times,  Boko Haram terrorists fired dozens of rocket propelled grenades into the city in the night, killing at least seven people and injuring nearly 20 others.

Four students of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo have been apprehended by detectives attached to the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly gang-raping a female student of the institution.

The suspects who are student in the Department of Business Education of the institution were said to have Gang-raped the victim who happen to be dating one of the boys.

Petrol sells for N110 at depots

                          

Tankers loading petrol from depots in Apapa, Lagos are currently paying between N90 and N110 per litre instead of the N82 before the advent of the current scarcity of the product in the market.

This, according to market sources, is the reason behind the high prices for which the product is selling at filling stations across the country.

Since the National Association of Road Transport Owners and the Petroleum Tanker Drivers’ arm of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers called off their strike, which was called to protest the debts owed their members by the petroleum product marketers, nearly all the filling stations have refused to sell petrol at the official pump price of N87 per litre.

President Goodluck Jonathan has advised the incoming president, Muhammadu Buhari, not to single his administration out for probe.

He said if Mr. Buhari must investigate him and his administration, he should do the same for the past governments.

A Nigerian soldier has revealed the maltreatment he’s got after being sacked by the Nigerian army.

Agunloye Sunday said the accusations against him and 199 others were “untrue, false and malicious” and that the arms given for them were outdated.
He said: “The bombs given to us were made since 1964 they were expired, so we could not use them.”

“Each of us were given five bullets, not five rounds to fire, while in the forest, our biggest weapon was to cover just a distance on 400 meters, but our enemy had aircraft weapons that could cover a distance of more than 1000 meters with other dangerous weapons.

Michael King Creator of Oprah, Dr. Phil Dies at 66

                         

Michael King, who with brother Roger created and syndicated wildly successful shows, including "Oprah" and "Dr. Phil," has died ... source has learned.
