The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has disclosed readiness to follow the footprint of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) by adopting the Computer Based Tests (CBT) Method.
Speaking at the Board’s 20th annual endowment fund lecture in its Ikeja, Lagos, international office.
The WAEC’s Board Registrar, Dr. Iyi
Uwadae, revealed that the board plans to
introduce the technology into its examination across the West African sub region.

“WAEC is ready to adopt the technology
based method in conducting its examination across West African Countries. The Board’s new international office in Lagos is already equipped with internet facilities and can sit over 350
candidates at once”.
