Pastor caught with human skull in Ilorin

A magistrate court in Ilorin, Kwara State, presided over by Magistrate (Mrs) K.A Yahaya, has remanded one Gabriel Josiah, a.k.a Eli-wakuku, said to be a prophet and founder of St. Moses Orimolade Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Osere area of the state capital, and others in prison for allegedly being in possession of human skulls.
 

The suspects were charged to court for criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass and unlawful possession of human head, contrary to Sections 97, 348, 219 of penal code law:
 

The Police prosecutor, Sergeant A. Seye, told the magistrate court on Tuesday that on February 5, 2016, the suspect conspired with Gabriel Moyosore 'm', Yinusa Sa'ad Ayinla, Alfa Alaba Isiaka (at large) and others to have unlawfully gain entry into Muslim cemetery ground at Osere area of Ilorin since 2009 till date.
 
 
The prosecutor also said that the suspects had allegedly removed some human skulls and sold to various customers at the rate of N8,000.00 per skull.
 
 
"You also use it for money rituals and other evil acts. You engaged in other nefarious activities within Osere area, Ilorin and its environs in the night. 
 
 
"Police investigation revealed that you Gabriel Josiah actually conspired with other suspects and sold the last human skull to Gabriel Moyosore at the rate of N6,000.00 in which the said human skull was discovered in possession of Gabriel Moyosore and you confessed to the commission of the crime. You thereby committed the above offences", he said.
 
 
The accused persons have been remanded in prison until further hearing.
